I was born and raised in Belém - Pará - Brazil (see pictures on the left). It is a wonderful city, surrounded by rivers that are connected to the Amazon River - the largest river by discharge of water in the world. The city is full of interesting things, and one that most attracts tourists is the typical food - most of which comes from the natives of this region. In my state we also have the Marajó Island - the biggest fluvial island in the world. I hope I convinced you that this is an interesting place to live.
My Alma Mater is the Federal University of Pará, where I got my Bachelor, Master and where I'm doing my Ph.D. in the Graduated Physics Program. I am part of Grav@Zon group, held in Federal University of Pará, led by Professor Luís C. B. Crispino. I also stayed as a visiting Ph.D. student for one year at the Instituto Superior Técnico, in Portugal, staying in Professor Vitor Cardoso group - GRIT - which I am part now.
My main research interests are gravitational fields and phenomena in strong curvature regime, most focused in compact objects, such as neutron stars, exotic stars and black holes. Check out my publications for more details.
